The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for acting as the liaison between information technology and business areas to ensure business needs and requirements are properly met. This position will work with business users to develop process efficiencies using Microsoft Dynamics, BI reporting, HRIS and other related tools. Adhere and maintain Company core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.Additional Responsibilities:Develop a strong understanding of all MS Dynamics interactions with other applications and databases to facilitate the most effective and efficient system configurationPlan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirementsFacilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with business and IT resourcesPerform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functionsProduce timely and high quality requirements-related work products, including requirement specifications, process flows, mock-ups and wireframesAnswer questions and clarify requirements for projects and enhancements during the estimation processPlan, facilitate and execute system / functional testing and UAT for projects and enhancementsBecome deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projectsUnderstand the relationships, dependencies and impact of business functionsUnderstand core systems, applications and technical platformsDocument, analyze and assess current business processes and underlying systems / applicationsEvolve into a subject-matter expert who can easily liaise between IT and other departmentsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline required Minimum of 2+ years experience as a business analyst Minimum of 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in software development Must possess a deep knowledge and experience in the requirements gathering, design, setup, implementation, training and end user support of Microsoft Dynamics including General Ledger, Payroll, and HRIS Minimum of 3+ years of overall SQL / Database experience working with MS Dynamics Minimum of 3+ years of Dynamics GP Support experience required Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition Must have extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements Must have expertise in modeling and/or mapping as-is and to-be business processes Must have experienced in test planning, test case development and execution Must have working knowledge of a variety of technologies and platforms, including legacy midrange, client and/or server and web services Must have strong communication skills, presentation skills and Microsoft Office skills (Power Point, Excel) required Must have exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment Must have excellent facilitation and organizational skills Must have strong critical and/or analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels Ability to work independently and with other team members High energy level, adaptive and a strong team player with a good work ethic Experience with, Microsoft TFS a plus Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required
